Android Apps is Threaten by Joker Virus, Immediately Uninstall This 24 Apps!

Android device is now being threatened again by another bad program. Now, the virus or malware called “Joker” is being found by CSIS Group on some apps in Android devices. This shocking news also told us that this apps can be found on the android official store “Google Play Store”.

“So far, we have detected it in 24 apps with over 472,000+ installs in total” said CSIS in their website. The Joker is a malware that is used to silently simulate the interaction with advertisement website, to steal their victim SMS Message, contact list, and device info.

Then they use the interaction to input the authorization codes for premium service subscription. In short, making the users join a premium subscription of their apps, without the knowledge of the users / victim!

The Joker attack only attacks a targeted countries. Where most of the infected apps contains a list of Mobile Country Codes, and the victim has to be using a SIM Card from one of these countries.

The full list of the 37 targeted countries includes : Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, China, Indonesia, Ireland, France, Egypt, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Kuwait, Malaysia, Myanmar, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Republic of Argentina, Serbia, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and United States.

It is not yet known, regarding the creator of this Joker Virus, and if you see the notably stealthy tactics to perform malicious activity on Google Play it is known that Android still have a lot of homework to secure their apps security to make their user feel safe. For the apps that is infected:
