Recently, there is a leak on the new update about Facebook for Android. It is said that Facebook is going to undergo a design change that will bring a new UI update to make the app feel more streamlines.

This year, they are going to make it easier to use the Facebook app with one hand, and the company has already rolled out a new UI design that adds bottom tabs to the app.

Above is the screenshot of the latest update for the Facebook app, where there will be six new tabs on the bottom of the app. The new UI will be available in the version of 264.0.0.44.111 (and newer).

The change is not significant enough that the user won’t be able to recognize the function of each tab, but it will make it easier to navigate through the app with just one hand. Especially since most phones has a wider screen.

This new update is only seen on a number of users of Reddit, but the changes might be permanent if Facebook gets the result that it is hoping for. Hopefully, we will see it on the next update!
