Xiaomi Pad 5 will be Getting Android 12 MIUI 13

Xiaomi Pad 5 will soon get the Android 12 MIUI 13 update. The new OS update that was previously provided for only a few users, will finally be given to its users. The Pad 5, which was released last year with Android 11 and MIUI 12.5, will get the Android 12 update with MIUI 13.1 and bring the latest security patch.

The new versions to note are 13.1.1.0.SKXMIXM for global units and 13.1.2.0.SKXEXM for European units.

The logs of the update only reveal that the Pad 5 will get a new android version and a new security patch. Whereas MIUI 13 will present new widgets, features, UI and of course an overall new design that is implemented specifically for wider screens. The Pad 5 is one of several Xiaomi devices getting the MIUI 13 update.
