Apple Reportedly Reducing the Production of iPhone 14 Plus
It would appear that there is a lack of demand for Apple’s iPhone 14 Plus, as the most recent information suggests that production of the smartphone will be decreased.
This information was obtained from a source within the supply chain, which disclosed that Apple told them reduce the production of the iPhone 14 Plus by around 90%.
According Apple reports, manufacturers have also reportedly been instructed to expand production of the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. However, Apple did not issue a statement or reaction of any kind.
This information also discloses, to a lesser extent, the popularity of iPhone 14 customers who like the pro and Promax versions, as well as the vanilla variant.
Users can upgrade to the Pro model of the iPhone 14 Plus for an additional cost of just $100, or they can pay an additional $200 to upgrade to the Pro Max model. It would appear that this is what users appreciate most about the pro version.
