For example, the Java edition allows you to customize your skin, and download and play mods from the community, which are not available in the Bedrock version on mobile.

In the comments of the Reddit post, one user, @ORGAN_STEALER, revealed that Pojav Launcher helps run Minecraft Java on Android. The developer, Artdeel, created this launcher specifically to run the game on mobile devices.

The cool thing about Pojav Launcher is that it can launch various versions of Minecraft, giving you full control over your sandbox experience. The Reddit screenshot shows version 1.8.9 of Minecraft, but another Reddit user, @Cramon_1, reported that they were also able to run version 1.7.3.

This opens up the possibility of playing Minecraft with mods on your phone, using mod loaders such as Forge, Fabric, and Optifine, to name a few. The possibilities of what you can now do in Minecraft on your phone are limitless!
