According to Digital Chat Station, a reliable Chinese leakster, the new edition of Realme GT Neo 5 Lite will be powered by the yet-unannounced Qualcomm SM7475 Chipset, which is supposed to be a Snapdragon 7 Gen 2. Also, the phone will be sold without the 50MP camera with Sony IMX890 sensor and the RGB notification light on the back, resulting in a significant price decrease.

The upcoming GT Neo 5 model, which has yet to be unveiled, will instead sport a 64MP camera with an Omnivision OV64M sensor. The camera island will likewise have a simple configuration, with the clear window displaying the Snapdragon chipset removed.

The charging capability of the Realme GT Neo 5 pair is one of its main selling features, with one version boasting 240W and the other 150W. The lighter version, on the other hand, will have a 5,500 mAh battery and “just” 100W charging. While slower in the context of the GT Neo 5 phones, it is still one of the quickest charging standards available.

Nevertheless, the GT Neo 5 Lite or GT Neo 5 SE, whichever name Realme eventually settles on, appears to be an intriguing alternative for price-conscious buyers. The reduced specifications may make the phone more inexpensive while preserving many of the features that made the GT Neo 5 so appealing, such as rapid charging and a great camera.

Realme has not yet officially launched the GT Neo 5 Lite or GT Neo 5 SE, but it will be interesting to watch if and when it becomes accessible to consumers.
