Genshin Impact Version 4.0: What’s New in the Second Phase?

Genshin Impact’s Version 4.0 update Event Wish

In the next part of Version 4.0, there will be three event wishes. These wishes will bring back some familiar characters and weapons, and there’s a little something extra. Freminet (Cryo) will also be available as a four-star character in both character wishes. These event wishes will be available until September 26th.

1. Gentry of Hermitage: This wish features the 5-star character Zhongli (Geo).
2. Farewell of Snezhnaya: Here, you can get the 5-star character Tartaglia (Hydro).
3. Epitome Invocation: This wish offers the 5-star Vortex Vanquisher Polearm and Polar Star Bow.

Genius Invokation TCG

If you’re into the trading card game within Genshin Impact, there’s good news! The update introduces the Heated Battle Mode, which you can try out from September 2nd to 11th. Head over to the Invitation Board of the Cat’s Tail to get in on the action.

In Heated Battle Mode, the first Action Card you use each round will cost two fewer dice, and the primary Skills or Talents equipped will be a die cheaper. Just a heads up, though – you won’t be able to use the cards for Mona, Bennett, and Keqing in this mode to keep things fair.

Gameplay Events

Starting September 4th, the Verdict of Blades event kicks off. In this event, you’ll take on various tasks that unlock daily. As you complete these challenges, you’ll earn Primogems, Character Talent Materials, and Weapon Ascension Materials.

On September 14th, the Studies in Light and Shadow event, also known as “A Fontaine of Enchantment,” begins. This quest involves helping Bresson capture different scenic views using the Special Kamera. And finally, as Version 4.0 wraps up, you can enjoy the Ley Line Overflow event, which offers double rewards for defeating certain bosses up to three times a day.
