Nexus 5x Performance and User Reviews

We have two topics to discuss today. Now we are going to talk about the Nexus 5x performance and Nexus 5x user reviews. Have you ever heard about the Nexus 5x performance issue? or the others rumors about the Nexus 5x? Well, let focus to our topic today.

Nexus 5X Performance

The Nexus 5X performance reflects the LG G4 that offered by the South Korean manufacturer’s. It is fast enough, it has a Geekbench score of 3.504. That is the exact speed readings that you will get from the LG G4. However, running it a few more times does shows slow down the scores. Nexus 5X at under pressure by running back-to-back Geekbench tests. The speeds of this smartphone dropped to 3.025 then 2.439. According to that scores, we have an average of the score at 2.990 (after three tests). Sometimes, between tests and closing other apps, the score are bounced back to 3.460 then, 2.884, and then 2.061. While the LG G4 was always stayed steady at scored (around) 3.500.

However, these inconsistent results. This may be caused by the problem on the Snapdragon 810 processor. In theory, Snapdragon 808 is more stable. The sputtering score reflected in the real-world performance. For example, the camera was slow to load when you want to take a picture. By opening multiple apps will show to you, that the 5X lag behind the Nexus 6P in some condition (but not all cases). The Android menus remained flawless, likely due to Android Marshmallow that being so refined. One chip of LG G4 does not have Google’s Android Sensor Hub for the activity monitoring. That’s similar to the powers of the Apple’s iPhone motion co-processor feature. This helps to save the battery life. Its uses some hardware like the gyroscope, accelerometer, and other sensors to save the power, and it still detects motion for orientation and waking the Ambient Display (all without the main processor). Well, that is all about the Nexus 5X performance.

Now we are going to talk about the Nexus 5X user review.

Nexus 5X User Review

There is two best rating user review that we have chosen from phone arena, these came from Pooma and applesnapple93. Okay, first look at the review from Pooma:

Pooma says that Nexus 5X has a great camera for a phone at this price (range). Being uncannily light for its size, and makes it feel more like you are holding the software itself rather than the hardware. The 5X Imprint feature is the real deal.

The display of Nexus 5X is decent, not a standout feature by any means. While the battery seems okay, and overall build quality is fine for the price. (very solid-feeling but nothing “premium”). Pooma, say that the LG and Google are mocking me (Pooma) by putting two speakers on the front yet not including stereo sound on the Nexus 5X. The screen is offset just a hair towards the top of the device (those with OCD beware). It is a good buy (at least for the US buyers) if you are into the pure Google Android experience. Pooma reminds to consider shelling out a few more bucks for the Nexus 6P as long as we do not mind with the larger size. Well, that is the Nexus 5X review from Pooma.

Then, let’s go to the second user review that came from applesnapple93. applesnapple93 has owned the Nexus 5X for less than 3 months before publishing this review. applesnapple93 say “Love it… But…” then what happen for the dots here?

applesnapple93 was bought this and a 6p at launch even knowing that the 6p was going to be a way to big for my (applesnapple93) hands. “I was coming from an iPhone 6 (my previous phones were HTC Droid Incredible, a Galaxy Nexus and I ultimately left the droid scene because of the nexus battery life and have used an iPhone from 4-6).

applesnapple93 had originally wanted the Nexus 5, but it was not offered on Verizon. I love the build quality of the phone, it is a plastic premium feel. If you receive hardware revision 1.0 you will have a soft touch back like mine. (if you receive hardware revision 1.1 the soft finish is removed for some reason). The size of the Nexus 5X is awesome.”
The call quality is awesome, not as good as other phones but definitely not as bad as the PA review makes it out to be. If you have the volume all the way up it can be a little loud and have some scratch but its so loud its painful on the ears from the internal speaker.

The data speed and reception are nothing to complain about. While the web browsing is extremely fast almost all of the time unless loading an extremely flash heavy website. The Nexus 5X battery life runs circles around my iPhone and any other phone that I have ever used. I managed to get 28 hours of battery life on Nexus 5X with moderate-heavy usage. Extremely heavy usage will last about 14 hours. The Nexus 5X recharge time is crazy fast when plugging it in at 15% then, for 30 minutes you will get about 50% (or higher which will last a while).

The Nexus 5X camera can be slow at times which is annoying, but the quality is amazing (everyone with iPhones will ask if they can use my phone to take their pictures). If you are heavily multitasking, and using social networking or messaging apps, you will notice slight UI slow down and sometimes stutter. The only other complaint I have about the Nexus 5X is that the main speaker on it is a complete joke. I have contemplated upgrading to the Nexus 6P just for the stereo speakers that sound amazing (crazy loud). This one is pretty quiet, a loud car almost drowns out the speaker which is pathetic. Also, the Nexus 5X headphone audio jack is really low volume compared to other phones that I have used. The Nexus 5X would be perfect IMO if the camera launch speed, output speaker volume, and aux output volume were louder.

Well, that is all about the Nexus 5x Performance and Nexus 5x User Reviews. Would you like to give us some suggestion? please let us know via comment. Thank you.
