According to Google, the Nexus 6P do not need an Optical Image Stabilization because the it has 1.55-micron pixels sensors were equipped inside this phone. This feature will help you to capture great photos in low light condition without the need to shoot at under optimal shutter speeds. The Nexus sensor has relatively very large pixels, more light is captured at any given photosite. This is mean, you will have an ability to shoot at faster shutter speeds but still be able to capture a well-exposed shot photos.

Every device has comes in each own character. The iPhone 6S plus comes with an Optical Image Stabilization and the 6P comes with the 1.55-micron pixels sensors. Please remember that an optical image stabilization will not help in freezing fast moving subjects. Thus, you will need a faster shutter speed to capture an object that moving fast. Please make sure that you understand the difference between an Optical Image Stabilization and a Digital Image Stabilization. The Digital Image Stabilization uses software and it is useful when recording videos. Thus, the 1.55-micron pixels on the Nexus 6P was combined with a fast fixed f/2.0 aperture will allow the camera to collect more light. That is mean it will improve the overall low-light performance on the camera. This is allows you to shoot a photo at a faster shutter speed and still maintain good exposure. In other words, the problem is not gone by using a larger pixels sensor, but you now have less chance to get a blurred image in most situations by using Nexus 6P. However, the phone camera will not give you a great result. Then, the best way to get a great picture, you will always need a professional camera. The camera on an ordinary phone like Nexus 6P or the others just will give you a standard result. The bigger and best camera sensor is the only way to get a great photo result.
